FAQ

Questions operators keep asking

Does this site connect to BioTrack or NMS2S?

No. BioTrack and NMS2S are closed, credentialed state systems with no public API for third-party websites. As of CCD Bulletin 26-09, API materials for retail POS integrations have been released, but only directly to POS providers — API materials for anything else, including third-party inventory systems, aren't coming until after NMS2S launches. Any tool claiming a live “pull from BioTrack, push to NMS2S” bridge today is not telling you the truth. This site works on a CSV you export yourself, and the analysis runs entirely in your browser.

How do I export the Current Inventory report?

In BioTrack, go to Traceability and run the Current Inventory report, then export it as CSV. CCD specifically recommends pulling this report directly from BioTrack Traceability — not from a third-party POS — because BioTrack is the source of truth for the migration. If you cultivate, export the Plant Inventory report too.

Is my inventory data safe?

Your CSV never leaves your browser. The analyzer is JavaScript running on your own machine — there is no upload, and the file is not sent to us or to anyone else. Nothing is written to our database unless you separately and explicitly choose to save a summary, and that summary contains only counts (how many findings of each type), never record IDs, strains, or quantities.

What happens to my BioTrack user accounts?

They do not migrate. In NMS2S, the primary controlling person on your NM-PLUS account becomes the initial system administrator and sets up all other users. Confirm that person is correct in NM-PLUS before the cutover — if it's a former employee, you have a problem to solve now rather than on launch day.

I'm a producer holding types that won't be allowed. What do I do?

After migration, a production license can only receive Deli Style Cannabis, Bulk Flower, Bulk Trim, Clones, Seedlings, Seeds. Existing inventory migrates as recorded, so you will not lose it — but you won't be able to receive those types afterward. Work the stock down, or convert or transfer it appropriately, before the cutover. Do not fabricate adjustments to make the file look clean.

Should I adjust records just to prepare for migration?

No. Do not make adjustments solely to prepare for migration unless the adjustment accurately reflects your real inventory and activity and is otherwise permitted. A clean-looking file that doesn't match your shelves is a bigger problem than a messy one that does. This tool flags discrepancies so you can investigate them, not so you can paper over them.

Is this official?

No. Roadrunner Compliance is an independent, operator-built preparation aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or reviewed by the New Mexico Cannabis Control Division, Real Time Solutions, or BioTrack. It is not legal advice. Verify every date and rule against official CCD communications and applicable NMAC.

What does the readiness score actually mean?

It's a weighted summary of the findings in your file — high-severity items count most, normalized by how many records you scanned. It is a triage aid, not a pass/fail grade and not a state validation. A score of 100 means this tool found nothing in the columns it could detect; it does not mean CCD will accept your data.
